PV 150 Solar Installation Test Kit
The PV150 all-in-one PV installation tester makes proving the electrical integrity of a PV system faster, safer and easier than ever before. With simple direct connections to PV systems, the PV150 performs open circuit voltage, short circuit current and insulation resistance tests at the press of a button.
As well as super fast and comprehensive testing, the PV150 is also able to wirelessly receive and record irradiance and temperature measurements from the Solar Survey 200R in real-time as electrical tests are conducted.
The PV150 is provided as part of a comprehensive test kit designed to meet all test requirements of PV systems in accordance with IEC 62446, BS EN 62446, EN 62446 and other certification schemes, standards and recommendations for best practise.
The PV150 solar installation test kit transforms the way PV systems are tested. It replaces the three separate instruments which installers have had to use for commissioning tests in the past; combining earth / ground continuity, insulation resistance, open circuit voltage, short circuit current, operating current (using supplied AC/DC current clamp) and DC operating power test functions into one handheld unit. Simple and safe MC4 and Sunclix PV test leads are provided for fast and easy direct connection to the PV modules, strings or array.
The PV150 solar PV tester has memory to store up to 200 complete test records and USB connectivity enables these to be quickly and easily downloaded to a PC. When coupled with Seaward’s SolarCert Elements software program (supplied separately) professional test certificates and reports can be created with direct download of results into test certificates and documentation.
New SolarlinkTM connectivity further improves the versatility of the PV150. Using Seaward SolarlinkTM, the PV150 can wirelessly capture and record real-time irradiance, ambient temperature and PV module temperature measurements from the Solar Survey 200R multifunction irradiance meter (supplied separately). This means that you can take all measurements, as required by MCS and IEC 62446 standards, simultaneously.
